Kathleen “Kathy” Aldenbrook of Boise, Idaho, was born to Patti Pippert and John Aldenbrook, October 6, 1953, in Los Angeles, California, and passed away November 8, 2024.

Kathy resided in Van Nuys, Mammoth Lakes, and Orange County, California, and Boise, Idaho. She graduated from Lee Vining High School to attend University of Nevada, Reno as an undergraduate. She received her Masters in Library Science from University of Southern California.

Kathy was an enthusiastic and caring High School Educator, most notably spending over 20 years in Saddleback Valley Unified School District as a Librarian and English teacher.

Kathy had a diverse array of hobbies over her lifetime, including writing, cooking, gardening, hiking, skiing, sailing, and body building. She enjoyed studying literature and Christian theology, and loved listening to classical music while sipping espresso.

Spending time serving her church community and leading women’s groups was especially important to Kathy. She was a dedicated member of Hill City Church in Boise, and previously of Saddleback Church in California.

Kathleen is survived by her daughter, Natalie DeGolia, sister, Gail Aldenbrook, and Nephew, Henry Dingman. She is preceded in death by her mother, Patti Pippert and father, John Aldenbrook.

Services will be held at Hill City Church, Boise, on Saturday, November 16, at 10:30 AM.
