Karen Elain Gillaspey

Karen Elain Gillaspey, 81, passed away peacefully at her home on June 24, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Karen was born on December 2, 1944. She lived in Central Point most of her life, before recently moving to Idaho. She shared nearly 63 years of marriage with the love of her life, Ronald Gillaspey. Together they built a lifetime of love, and cherished memories. Karen’s greatest joy was her family. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother and a treasured great-grandmother. She also loved the outdoors and especially hunting and fishing with Ronald. Those adventures together were among her happiest moments and reflected the deep bond they shared throughout their marriage. She is survived by her husband, Ronald Gillaspey; her daughters, Rhonda Kendall, Kathy Keeling, and Tawnya Mingus; her grandchildren, Kayla, Ryan, Renae, Alexandria, Brienna, Brett, and Desirae; and her beloved great-grandchildren, Tatum, Moriah, Harper, Emery, Hadley, Kinsley, Willow, and Reid. She was preceded in death by her mother Ruby, father Kermit, and her grandson Caleb. Karen will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be forever loved and never forgotten.
