Judy Rae Hogue, affectionately known as Meemo, of Boise, Idaho , passed away on the 25th of February, 2024, at the age of 82. Born in Klamath Falls, OR, on February 18, 1942, to Laco Faye and Olive Gregory, Judy was a beacon of light and joy to all who knew her.

As a lifelong optimist, Judy’s humor and laughter were a testament to her loving and vivacious spirit. She was a steadfast companion and confidante, known for her sage advice and compassionate heart. Judy’s role as a grandmother and great-grandmother was her greatest joy, finding pure delight in the company of her cherished Hollie Faye.

Judy is lovingly remembered by her husband of 63 years, Ken Hogue; her son, Greg Hogue; granddaughter, Elizabeth Hogue; daughter, Kandis Kramer; son-in-law, Mike Kramer; grandchildren, Tanner McAlister and Tatum McAlister; great-granddaughter, Hollie Faye Henggeler; and step-grandchildren, Evan Kramer and Emily Kramer. She is preceded in death by her parents and her beloved “other mother,” Ila Ree Stevens.

A devoted bookkeeper, caregiver, and homemaker, Judy was a graduate of Klamath Falls High School. Her life was rich with the simple pleasures of reading, spending time with family, and enjoying the great outdoors.

Judy was a member of the Boise Friends Church and Pierce Park Baptist Church, where she found fellowship and spiritual solace. Her faith and love for her community were cornerstones of her life.

A Celebration of Life service for Judy will be held on Friday, March 8, 2024, at 10:00 am at Pierce Park Baptist Church. The Bowman Funeral Home of Boise, ID , is assisting the family during this time.

Judy’s legacy is one of laughter, love, and the enduring warmth of a life well-lived. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to have felt the touch of her kindness and the joy of her laughter.
