On Tuesday, September 6, 2022, Judy Lynn Buratto passed away at the age of 74.
Judy was born October 21, 1947 in Boise, Idaho to Chuck and Tony Beymer. Judy attend elementary school in Boise and Twin Falls, Idaho and graduated from Borah HS in Boise in 1965. Upon graduation Judy began a long and distinguished career as a secretary and personnel assistant. She worked for Intermountain Gas then worked in law offices in Pocatello, ID., while her first husband, Larry Knop attended Idaho State University. She returned to Boise and continued her career in law offices. In 1978 Judy married Steve Buratto and they begin the nomadic life of a football coach. Morning from Boise to Las Vegas, NV, to Regina, SK, then to Vancouver and on to Calgary, AB, back to Vancouver, on to Baltimore MD. and finally settling back in Boise for the remainder of her life.
Judy loved to travel and visited Europe when possible visiting the Basque Country to visit relatives when ever possible. She loved to play cards and was quite successful at Blackjack even as a dealer for a time. Judy loved crystal and had a wonderful collection of crystal figurines and stem ware of which she was very proud. Judy’s greatest love was people and she had a multitude of friends all over the US and Canada.
Judy was preceded in death by her mother, Tony and father, Chuck. She is survived by her sisters Joan Lanning and Carole Hearne, her husband Steve and three step children, Steve Buratto, Jill Forehand, Dina Buratto and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
