Johnny Joe Hill, 74, passed away November 10, 2025. He was born on May 21, 1951 in Nampa, Idaho to John Glover Hill and Donna Mae Oliver Hill. He grew up with his 3 siblings Vickie Newton (Chip), Debbie Hill, and Barbara Hill-Farnsworth (Stephen).
Johnny proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Upon returning, he was a carpenter most of his life, but later got a Bachelor's degree in social work and became a certified alcohol and drug counselor.
Johnny loved hunting and fishing and music. He taught guitar lessons at The Boise Hive after retirement.
He is survived by his four children. He was preceded in death by his son Jesse Hill (Kim). He has four remaining children: Emily Hall, Chase Hill (Megan), Lance Hill (Chrissy), and Blake Hill (Dakota). He leaves behind ten grandchildren: Garrett Hill, Alyssa Hill, Derek “Bobby” Hill, Avery Hill, Jonah Hall, Sylas Hall, Isla Compton, Owen Hill, Max Hill, and Hudson Hill.
