“Jesse”

On Friday, December 13, 2024. Jesus “Jesse” M. Robles of Nampa went to be with our Lord, he passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. He was born in Valle Hermoso, Mexico to Celestino and Hermalinda Robles of Texas. Jesse is a Vietnam combat veteran and Purple Heart recipient who proudly served our country in the US Army (1969-1971).

Jesse grew up a migrant worker from the age of 6 years old. He and his family migrated to and from Texas, Utah, Washington, Idaho and Oregon. In 1969, Jesse was drafted into the US Army where he fought in Vietnam. Jesse settled in Marsing Idaho following his return from service, where he worked for Symms fruit Ranch and St Chapelle’s. Jesse later moved to Nampa with his immediate family. Over the years, Jesse worked for Meridian Woods, the Amalgamated sugar factory, Selkirk, Metalbestos. During his later years, Jesse proudly worked for the Boise VA Hospital until his retirement in 2014. Jesse loved fishing, hunting, camping, spending time in his garage “man cave” working on projects, going out to breakfast, trips to Jackpot and spending quality time with family. He enjoyed teasing and joking with those he loved. Jesse made friends wherever he went.

“He was our hero, a strong independent man who worked hard and loved his family even harder”.

Jesse is survived by his loving family. Life Companion, Sylvia Mendez. Sons, Jesse (Tonya), Daniel (Christina) and Armando (Taylor). Daughters, Betty (Keith), Rachel (Robert) and Priscilla. Grandchildren, Christian, Kadin (Maddie), Jasmine (Dante), Jade, Justin, Mia, Rocky, Robert Jr. (Ruby), Savannah (Hector), Taylor (Monique), Romeo, Genesis, Janie-Jo, Nina and Kyle. Sisters, Elva, Hermalinda, Estella, Yolanda and Rosalinda (Dale). As well as his loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Jesse is preceded in death by his parents Celestino and Hermalinda, his brothers Armando, Juan, Celestino. Nephews, Giovanni and Jaxon.
