Jerry Dilworth

Jerry Dilworth, 73, of Nampa, Idaho passed peacefully at home with his son and daughter-in-law by his side. Jerry was born to Dee Dilworth and Wilma (Myers) Dilworth on March 23, 1952, in Nampa, Idaho. After Dee and Wilma divorced, Goldie Marie (Hayes) Dilworth joined the family and became a loved second mother.

Jerry graduated from Capital High School in 1970 where he met the love of his life Bonnie Lee Porter. They celebrated 49 years of marriage before her unexpected passing in 2021. Jerry was a proud member of the Idaho National Guard and served time in Germany. He became a journeyman Sheetmetal craftsman, retiring from Image National Signs where he was a mentor and friend to those he worked alongside.

As a dedicated father and husband, family was always first in his life. They enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time at their cabin in Crouch, Idaho. He will always be remembered for the countless pranks he often played on his unsuspecting cousins. His dry humor and quiet teasing would sometimes take us by surprise. He took the look of a grumpy cat seriously and slyly enjoyed giving everyone a hard time,

For many years, Jerry and Bonnie became Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus. Jerry came to life as Santa and enjoyed spending time with children and families as they told him of their hopes and Christmas wishes.

Jerry was proceeded in death by his parents, wife Bonnie, son Brady Dilworth, three grandsons Raymond Dilworth, (Justin and Jared Dilworth stillborn) and sister Alta Carmack.

Survivors include his son Jason (Anna) Dilworth, granddaughters Brittney (Justin) Vanderbrink, Regina Hammett, 7 great-grandchildren, second Mother Goldie Marie Dilworth, sisters Connie Burningham, Donna (Dennis) Potter, Peggy Gardner, brother Charles (Andrea) Christon and many loved nieces and nephews.

Honorary Pallbearers are Jason Dilworth, Charles Christon, Geoff Burningham, Joe Burgess, George Burgess, Rafe Barrett, James Peterson, and Shane Horsley.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Lakeview Park (also known to many as Airplane Park) in Nampa from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Maple Grove Shelter (near the tank and horseshoe pits).

In addition, the family would like to thank Keystone Home Health and Hospice for their wonderful care during his final journey.
