Jeffrey Duca Logatiman (33) died on August 14, 2021. He was diagnosed with Acute Leukemia and died with infections & complications while undergoing treatment at St. Alphonsus Boise Hospital.
Jeffrey was born in Catbalogan City, Samar, Philippines on May 14, 1988 to Noel and Josefina Logatiman. He was the second of four children. He went to San Jorge Central Elementary and graduated High School at Samar State College Agriculture and Forestry (SSCAF) in 2004. He finished his Bachelor of Science in Criminology in Leyte Colleges, Tacloban City in 2008, after passing his board exam for BS Criminology he served in the Philippine National Police in Samar for about 9 years until he was engage to Felina Oreo and moved to the United State in February 2019.
Jeffrey and Felina got married in La Grande, Oregon on February 7, 2019, and a beautiful grand celebration on June 2, 2019. They were blessed with a baby girl Jelyn.
He will be missed by his family, his extended family, his close friends and his colleagues at the Police Force. He was loved by his new friends in his short life here in the US and pretty much anyone that knew him.
Jeff is survived by his wife Felina, daughter Jelyn in La Grande, Oregon, parents Noel & Josefina, brother Jay, sisters Jocile & Josefina in the Philippines.
The family is doing a memorial in the Philippines at Jeffrey’s parents home. A Memorial Service will be held at Fort Union Grange 953, La Grande, Oregon on Sunday August 22, 2021 at 2:00PM.
