Jeffrey F. Grala

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jeffrey (Jeff) Francis Grala of Boise, brother of Connie (Tom) and Kathy, uncle of Eric and Mark, great uncle of Adaline passed away on May 26, 2026. He was born in Chicago, Illinois. He graduated from Apollo High School in Glendale, Arizona. 

Jeff loved to dance, travel, and draw. His heart was big and he liked playing games with the family. Many fun stories arose from his escapades while fishing. He never caught many fish, but he snagged other things including his grandpa. Jeff was a good worker and held many jobs throughout his life. Although he would never admit it, household chores were probably his least favorite. He loved football and painstakingly mapped the entire season’s games for every team including his favorite, Green Bay Packers. 

Jeff went through life with an open heart and his kindness touched the lives of everyone he met. He loved animals and cuddling with his cat Dudley. 

Jeff was preceded in death by his father and mother, George and Dolly Grala. 

We extend special thanks for the care Jeff received from the staff at Edgewood Spring Creek and All Care Hospice.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Dementia Society of America in his honor. 

Jeff will be lovingly remembered and never forgotten. 

A funeral mass will be held, 11:00 am, Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 2612 W. State St., Boise, Idaho, 83702.

A committal service will be held, 2:45 pm, Thursday, June 11, 2026 at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery, 10100 Horseshoe Bend Rd., Boise, Idaho.
