With love, respect, and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Janice Cox, a cherished mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Janice lived a life grounded in love, strength, and quiet resilience, touching the hearts of everyone who had the privilege to know her.
Born on August 4, 1953, in Boise, Idaho, Janice was the beloved daughter of Ronald “Bud” Cox and Geraldine Corbin Cox. She grew up in Middleton, Idaho, alongside her two older brothers, A.D. “Jim” Cox and Jack Cox. A proud graduate, Janice spent her school years active in 4-H, school groups, and church organizations. She had a natural gift for nurturing both animals and people.
Janice stayed involved in her community throughout her life, participating in civic groups like the Jaycees and always offering her time and heart to help others. Her warm presence and determined spirit left a lasting impact everywhere she went.
She was married twice — first to James “Jim” Harvey, and later to a second husband from Southern Idaho. She was the proud mother of three children: Eric Klevmoen, Michael “Robert” Klevmoen, and Jamie Janell Harvey. Her love for her children was unwavering and unconditional, and her strength and values live on in them.
Janice spent many years working for the State of Idaho and later at Albertsons College of Idaho, where she formed lasting friendships and earned the respect of all who worked with her. She was deeply loved not only by her family, but also by a circle of lifelong friends and several “adopted” kids who still carry her memory in their hearts.
Janice passed away on April 16, 2025, surrounded by love. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion, courage, and faith — and a reminder to all who knew her that even the quietest voices can leave the loudest echoes in the lives they touch.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
