Janice married her current husband Larry Schneiderman on July 5 th , 2017. Both having lost their spouses due to medical conditions; they related closely and loved each other unconditionally. During their adventurous marriage of 5 1/2 years together here on earth, they both enjoyed life with their combined families and traveling. One of Janice’s favorite places to travel was the Oregon Coast, which they visited several times. They also visited the U.S. Capitol and surrounding area sites of Washington D.C., throughout the Midwest to meet Larry’s extended family, the Dakota Badlands, through the Wyoming prairies and the Northwest where Larry’s immediate family resides.  Janice’s last great adventure was in June of 2022, when they traveled to Barcelona, Spain and they joined others for a cruise to France and Italy. The Italy trip included Naples, Pompeii and Rome where they visited the Vatican. Janice was a delightful lady with a sparkling personality, a wonderful wife and mother. She very much liked canning fruits and vegetables, making jellies and baking Finn bread in which she shared with family and friends. She was our Lord’s Earth Angel.

Jan liked to play the Accordion and appeared on the Lawrence Welk show as a guest of the accordion musician Myron Floren. She loved her pups Gidget, Bently, her fish tank, she also enjoyed time driving her sports car as it reminded her of time with her dear loved ones past and present.  She enjoyed spending as much time as possible with her grandkids and always kept in touch even though she was not “tech savy”. She always had an ear to listen to whatever was bothering anyone, and was always there for a shoulder to lean or cry on when needed.  She had a big Heart!!

Jan worked in the office at a local Boise school where her kids also went to school, Paula thought that it was always cool to have your mom in school with you.  Jan later continued her education and was certified as a dental assistant where she worked until the early 90’s.

Holidays were very important to Jan, she ensured to put up a “few” Christmas trees around the house during the holidays.  She enjoyed celebrating with friends and family and wanted to spend every moment letting them know she cared and loved them. She treasured every moment with Todd and Paula and would enjoy time spending “girl days” with Paula and spending time thrift shopping and lunch dates with Todd.
