James "Jim" Walls

James (Jim) Walls passed away on July 7, 2025 at the age of 57. A husband, a father, a parrot-head (love for Jimmy Buffett), and a great cook. Jim was born in Canoga Park, CA, on September 14, 1967, to James A. Walls and Charlene Smith. He was married to Tonya Stern on April 8, 2005. They have two children Brayden (20) and Jorden (18).

Jim is preceded in death by his father and sister (Holly). He is survived by sisters Amanda, Allison, Amy, and Kaycee, and brothers, Zac, Lukas, Landon and Trevor.

Jim was a devoted husband and a fantastic father. He loved watching his kids play baseball, snow skiing with family, loved Jimmy Buffett and attended many concerts, playing softball with great friends, big San Diego Padre fan, an original member of the Boise PH, and in most recent years A member of Idaho to Fly, a club that supports men with cancer. He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.

A memorial service will be held, 10:00 am, Saturday, August 9, 2025 at Good Shepherd Lutheran, 5009 W. Cassia St., Boise, Idaho 83705

A celebration of life will be held on 5:00 PM, Saturday, September 13, 2025 at the End Zone, 1010 S. Broadway Ave. Please wear your best Hawaiian shirt or coconut bras! Bring your Jimmy Buffett vibes to celebrate Jimmy Walls!
