It is with profound sadness that we share the sudden passing of Jake Williams on the morning of Sunday, February 11th, 2024.

Despite his vibrant spirit and resilience, Jake faced an unexpected and severe case of sepsis on Friday, February 9th that rapidly progressed and took a turn for the worse. Jake was surrounded by love and the presence of his family and closest friends in his final hours.

Jacob “Jake” Williams, 36, of Boise, Idaho, was born on December 20, 1987, in Pocatello, Idaho. Jake, as he was known to his loved ones, was a devoted husband to Kayla, a loving father to his son Colton. Along with Kayla and Colton, he is survived by his mother Anne Lomeli, father Gary Williams, his sister Mallory Edmark and many more family and friends.

Jake was a kind and generous friend to all, always willing to lend a helping hand. He found joy in camping, spending time with friends, attending concerts, going to rodeos, and riding ATVs. Above all, Jake treasured his role as a father to his little boy.

As one of Jehovahs Witnesses, he believed that God would restore the earth to its original purpose. Jake had faith and drew comfort knowing that God yearns for the day that those asleep in death would be restored to life again in perfect conditions. We can’t wait for the day when we can see him again.

This sudden loss has especially left his wife, Kayla and his son, Colton, truly heartbroken. Their endurance and strength to get through this time is sustained by an unfailing hope and faith in the Bible’s promises. We look forward to the time that Jehovah God will use his power to ressurect Jake back to life, in perfect health, and back in the loving arms of his family and those that cherished his friendship.
