Henry U. Lujan, Jr. aka Rick, 74, of Boise, ID passed away peacefully July 15, 2023 surrounded by his family.
Rick was born 4/8/1949 to Henry Lujan Sr and Louella Doke in Long Beach, CA
His professional career as a design engineer spanned across many industries including HVAC, AeroSpace and Automotive.
In 1976, Rick met Susan Denise (McDermid). They married after 6 weeks of dating and have been married 47 years. They have three daughters Amy (& John), Heather (& Jeff) and Megan (& Casey). They are blessed with seven grandchildren: Josh (& Cathy), Jenna, Chloe, Matthew, Sarah, Brett, and Kristen. They have two great granddaughters Ellie and Lucy and counting!
In 2017, Rick and Denise relocated to Boise, ID to enjoy retirement and family.
Rick was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Chuck, Richard, and Doug. He is survived by sisters Marie Gillilan of Missouri and Rose Schueler of Nevada as well many loved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Graveside services will be held at Dry Creek Cemetary, Boise, ID on Friday July 21, 2023, at 10:00am followed by a repast at Heather & Jeff’s home located at 4268 W Harbor Point Dr, Meridian. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St. Luke’s Cancer Institute in Boise, an organization Rick felt strongly about and provided his care.
