Henry “Hank” Charles Rogers
Hank was born on June 17, 1949 in Cleveland, Ohio. He has gone home to our Heavenly Father on December 16, 2023, at the age of 74, after a sudden decline in health.
Hank is survived by his son James, his daughter-in-law Chantilly, and daughter-in-law Brandi Rogers. His granddaughters: Emily, Ashley, Jamie, Karissa, Alyssa, Jullian, and Lilly. His grandsons: Joseph, James II, David, Jeremiah, Scott, and Ayrick. His great grandson Nathan, and great granddaughters: Luna, McKinley, and Sawyer. As well as many loving extended family members and friends. Hank was preceded in death by his father, Hank Rogers, and his mother, Ann Rogers, and his son Dean Rogers.
Hank lived in the quaint mountain town of Horseshoe Bend, where he resided with his son James and family, for several years. Hank graduated from Newbury High School in 1967 and moved to Idaho August of 1978. He owned his own forklift business, HanCo, in Boise, Idaho where James and Dean worked with him for many years. Eventually, upon retiring, Hank passed HanCodown to his son, James.
He was an outdoors loving man. He loved to camp, fish, hunt, rock hunt, tinker around, and most importantly, spend time with his beloved family and friends. He was a stubborn man who did things his own way, but with the biggest heart. His determination, resilience, and tenacity endeared him to us all.
At the end, Hank was surrounded by family and friends at his bedside. This man will be truly missed. We love you Hank, Papa, Dad, Uncle, Cousin, Friend.
