May 28, 2026, Gera Lee Kelly beloved Mother and Grandmother died peacefully at her home surrounded by her family at the age of 81.

Gera was born on July 21, 1944, in Livingston, MT to Bill & Bernice Lulloff. She grew up in Anaconda, MT graduating high school in 1962. Three days after graduation she moved to Boise, ID planning to attend Links Business school to study to be a writer.

While working at the Howdy Pardner the summer before school began, she met John E. Kelly, six weeks later October 12,1962 they were married. Out of the marriage they had 5 children. Gera was homemaker, canned, sewed, was a baker & worked various jobs as needed. She was famous for her Potato Rolls during the holidays. Mom made blankets, robes, teddy bears, and Christmas stockings for all her kids and grandchildren. Inside she sewed little patches on each gift that would say "made with love by grandma". Gera had 15 grandchildren & 16 great grandchildren. Every one of these kids was held by her and she loved each one with "all of her heart" and she expected you to say it back. Later in life Gera & John bought 40 acres on the Oregon Slope to retire on. She worked beside John helping irrigate hay fields and the pasture for the cows and going to the auction as the check writer. They bought a small custom poultry business in 1998 with their son, later moving the business to Fruitland, Idaho under the name Countryside Poultry Processing. They finally decided to retire in 2018 when they sold the business. Gera was known for her kindness & generosity.
