Georgianna (Glenn) Parker

February 23, 1938 – August 20, 2026

Georgianna Parker, a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker whose warmth and generosity touched everyone who knew her, passed away peacefully on August 20, 2026, at Edgewood Plantation Place in Boise, Idaho. She was 88.

Born on February 23, 1938, in Council, Idaho, Georgianna was the daughter of Isaac and Lillian Glenn. She was born, raised, and spent most of her life on the land homesteaded by her family in Fruitvale. She married Richard Warren “Dick” Parker, and they shared 50 years of marriage.

Georgianna carried the values of her small-town upbringing—community, faith, and family—throughout her life. She devoted herself to her family, expressing her love through sewing, baking, and gardening. She had a gift for making sweets and fresh-baked treats, and she loved growing flowers in her garden.

A woman of Christian faith, Georgianna lived her beliefs through quiet acts of service and steadfast devotion to those she loved.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Warren Parker; her parents, Isaac and Lillian Glenn; and her sister, Margery Eleanor Clay.

Georgianna is survived by her children, Michael Warren Parker (Grace), Kathy Jean Harris (Terry), Richard Douglas Parker (Sharon), and Debra Alene Ivey (Quintin); three grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at Council Community Church in Council, Idaho. The date and time will be announced later.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to honor Georgianna’s memory by sharing a home-baked treat or flowers from your garden with someone you love.

Georgianna will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
