Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church
Starts at 11:00 am (Mountain time)
Faith Marie Brigham, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and faithful servant of Christ, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2026, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was 67 years old.
Faith was born on December 19, 1958, in Chicago Heights, Illinois, to William and Lois Rupprecht. She carried the values of faith, kindness, hard work, and service throughout her life, touching countless people with her warmth, generosity, and unwavering love for family and community.
After growing up in Filer, Idaho, Faith graduated from Filer High School and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in English from Boise State University, which would remain a central part of her life for decades. She dedicated nearly 40 years of service to Boise State University's Anthropology Department, where she became a beloved administrator, trusted colleague, and treasured friend. Upon her retirement in 2017, she was honored with Emeritus Status in recognition of her distinguished service and lasting contributions to the university community.
A woman of deep faith, Faith was a founding member of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church and an active member of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League (LWML). Her church family was an important part of her life, and she found great joy in serving others through fellowship, ministry, and countless acts of kindness.
Faith embraced life's simple pleasures and treasured time spent with those she loved. She was an enthusiastic Boise State football fan, enjoyed camping adventures, solving puzzles, and tending to the beautiful backyard oasis she lovingly created. She delighted in baking treats for church gatherings and for her grandchildren, and few things brought her more joy than cheering from the sidelines at her grandchildren's sporting events. Faith ended almost every sentence in a laugh, and her smile was one of her most beautiful qualities, bringing joy even during the difficult moments.
Above all else, Faith's greatest pride and joy was her family. She is survived by her devoted husband, Dean Brigham; her daughter, Tara Janca and her husband, Nathaniel; her son, David Brigham, and his wife, Whitney, along with their three children— Sawyer, Rylie, and Landon — Faith’s beloved grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Beth. Her love, encouragement, wisdom, and steadfast presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Faith was preceded in death by her parents, William and Lois Rupprecht, and her sisters, Rachel and Linda.
Those who knew Faith will remember her gentle spirit, her servant's heart, her steadfast faith, and her remarkable ability to make others feel welcomed, valued, and loved. Her legacy lives on in her family, her church, her university community, and the many lives she touched through her kindness and grace.
A celebration of Faith's life will be held at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church. Date: June 22nd, 2026 Time: 11:00 am Location: 2981 E Boise Ave, Boise, ID 83706.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages acts of kindness and service in Faith's memory, reflecting the generous and compassionate life she lived. You may also donate to Lutheran Women's Missionary League or Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church.
