Evelyn Mary Kightly of Nampa, Idaho, peacefully passed away on September 7th, 2025, surrounded by her family.

Evelyn was born in Ava, Missouri and moved with her family to Greenleaf, Idaho as a child. She later made her home in Nampa where she resided for the remainder of her life. A woman of deep faith, Evelyn was a longtime member of Franklin Community Church. Though she could no longer attend in person in later years, she cherished staying in touch with her church family and friends.

Evelyn was blessed with a loving family who brought her great joy. She is survived by her children: Dan (Chris) Orcutt of Boise, Idaho; Gary (Leigh Anne) Orcutt of Arlington, Washington; and Roxanne (George) Zubiate of Boise, Idaho. She was a proud grandmother to Jordan Peterson, Mitchell Orcutt, Lauren Orcutt, Robert Flores, Brooke Orcutt, Dillon Orcutt, Shawn Nelson, Megan McKinzie, Bryce Walker, Megan Walker, Rob Walker and Alecia Dobson. Evelyn also delighted in her great-grandchildren: Olivia and Owen Orcutt, Charlotte Peterson, and Aurora and Kolt Walker.

She was preceded in death by her parents. Lester Rowe and Mabel Murrell; her brothers, Darrell and Larry Rowe; and her sisters Norma Ramsey, Velda Mayberry and Louise Taylor.

Family was everything to Evelyn and in her final years, it was a blessing for her to live near her son and daughter, where she was lovingly cared for while maintaining her independence. Those who knew Evelyn loved her for her sweet and sassy spirit. She leaves behind cherished memories of love and faith.

While her absence leaves a deep void, her family takes comfort in knowing that she is reunited with those who went before her. What a joyous reunion that must be.

Arrangements are under the direction of Bowman Funeral Parlor of Garden City.
