Evelyn “Ev” Loretta Sherod, 68, of Boise, passed away July 8, 2022. Evelyn was born on April 29, 1954, in Boise, Idaho, to parents Raymond L. and Cleta F. Holt.
She attended St. Mary’s grade school, Boise, ID., graduated from Capital High School, and attended Boise State University. Evelyn was a retired postal carrier in Boise, Idaho. She acted, directed and was once president of the Boise Little Theater.
Evelyn married the love of her life, John M. Sherod on December 12, 1974.
She loved cooking, reading, and gardening. She was so very proud of her yard. She also enjoyed attending movies and was a member of the movie club, “The Flicksters.”
Evelyn is survived by siblings: Louise Holt, Eileen Cirillo, Michael Holt (Joni). as well as nephew Scott Squier (Don Curtis Jr.) and niece Stephanie Parker (Kris).
She was preceded in death by her husband, John M. Sherod, and parents, Raymond L. and Cleta F. Holt.
Private family interment will be held at Dry Creek Cemetery.
