In Loving Memory of Evangeline Grace Watson
Evangeline Grace “Angie” Watson, age 89, died peacefully September 19, 2025, at her home in Garden City, Idaho after a short illness.
Angie was born on March 14, 1936, in Walnut, Kansas to Alfred and Hildegard Mein. Angie started her first job as a nightshift switchboard operator in Twin Falls. Angie enjoyed her next job as Office Manager with Livestock Commission Cattle Auction. In the 1980’s she moved to Boise where she worked in the Commodity Department of the Agri Beef Company. In 1992, Angie moved to Las Vegas to work with friends Dick and Lynne Foster, at Dick Foster Productions. Angie enjoyed her position as Office Manager and had many opportunities to travel overseas with Foster Productions. Upon retiring, Angie returned to Idaho to live in the Treasure Valley area until her passing. Angie enjoyed sewing, reading and traveling the world. The one thing Angie wanted to do before her passing was experience an African Safari.
Angie was married to Dick Foster in Cabo San Jose, Baja Mexico on December 16, 2014; they spent many happy years commuting between Mexico and the US and travelling to many beautiful locations throughout the world, Angie certainly enjoyed her retirement. She is survived by Husband Dick Foster along with her two children – Pamela Rayl (Ronald McCallum), and Lisa Branning (Robert) as well as two grandchildren Thomas Powell and Amy Young and nine great-grandchildren. Angie was preceded in death by her brothers Estel Mein, Arnold Mein, her sisters Loraine Fischer and Estella Radtke, her oldest daughter Deborah Rayl, her two granddaughters Michelle Machado and Bobbi Hess.
The family would like to express our thanks for the wonderful help and care given by hospice “First Choice.” Also, to relatives and friends who loved and cared for Angie. And a special thank you to Lisa who spent many weeks sometimes day and night caring for her mother.
God Bless!
