Bill was born in Danville Illinois to Dennis (Bill) W. Bailey and Hellen M.(Tatham) Bailey, he is survived by his wife of 68 years Viola Mae (Markus) Bailey, Sons Dennis W. Bailey, Robert M. Bailey, Mitzi, Daughters Lucinda JoAnn Alvarez, John and Lisa H. Howe, Scott. He was also Blessed with14 grandkids, 27 great grand Kids,
Graduate of Nampa High School he then entered the Army during the Koreon War in Aug. 1953 coming home May 1955. He then continued his pursuit and love for baseball after marring they set off to the Canadian leagues to pitch semipro ball. With their first kid coming he chose to move to Elkhart Indiana to graduate from the University of Dental Technology. Settling in Mattoon, Il. were they were blessed with three more kids and spent 15 years before coming back home to Idaho. Bill worked in the dental lab field for 68 years with pride retiring at 88 years old. He never lost his passion for baseball, golf and the outdoors. He took pride in the beautiful family cabin he built over many years on the South Fork in Garden Valley. He will missed and always admired and loved by family and friends for his since of humor, hard work ethics and drive for perfection. May he finally rest in peace.
