Elvira began her life in Chula Vista, CA where she was born in 1963. She was the fifth of six loving siblings who cared and looked after her. Elvira grew up and attended school in Chula Vista, CA where she made many friends and developed her love of animals. After graduating high school she made her way out into the world where she met the love of her life Denny Simmons. They married in a small ceremony on June 19, 1987. After getting married, Denny and Elvira moved to Escondido, CA, where they would live for thirty years, to start their family. They raised two daughters, Ashely and Jordan, and adopted Elvira’s beloved pets: Cesar, Romeo, Coco and Kitty. In 2019, Denny and Elvira moved to Eagle, ID to enjoy the outdoors and hobbies.
She is survived by husband Denny, daughters Ashley and Jordan, dogs Romeo and Coco and her sister Isabel Chrislibe and brothers Hector, Armando and Mario Salgado.
Elvira was proceeded in death by her father and mother Henry and Carolina Salgado, brother Robert Salgado.
