Donald James Jennings

January 6, 1956 — May 8, 2026

Donald James Jennings was born January 6, 1956,  to Donna F and James N Jennings in Boise, Idaho. True to his nature, he had scratches on his nose when he arrived, in preparation for a rock and roll wonderful life. Personality was immediate with this little Donny boy. Such a joy of life and a quest for adventure from the very start. All boy, for sure.

Don attended McCall, Jackson and Maple Grove elementary schools, West Jr High and graduated from Borah High School in Boise, Idaho in 1974 He had talents in many areas, football, hunting, skiing and an overall joy of life. He worked for Albertsons during his high school years until he enlisted in the US Air Force in 1975. Don trained in Buluxey, MI and was assigned to Anchorage, Alaska airbase, where he worked as an air traffic controller. Upon completing his honorable service in the USAF, he returned to Boise and entered into the car sales. A more natural salesman was never born, Don quickly became the top sales producer at his dealership. He and his brothers then went into business together as Jennings Real Estate in 1982. Home sales weren’t to Don’s liking so he took a sales position with Interstate Plastics and found his initial successful sales journey. Breaching out on a totally new adventure, he established a a new Idaho territory for Red Wood Rubber and Plastics in 2017, which he retired from in 2020. Don’s customers were many and were loyal to him throughout his careers. His vibrant and funny personality drew them to him as a friend and professional sales person.

Don is survived by his daughter, Amanda Jennings,(Chris), son, Callahan Jennings,(Sara) son, John Borge,(Carissa), Jacob Davis (Jocelyn), Jason Davis (Janae), Jessica Davis (John),mother Donna Jennings, sister LaUna Wolf (Doug), brothers Randy Jennings (Patty) Roger Jennings, grandchildren Balee Shiann Seeger, Sylis James Seeger and his 12 other beloved grandchildren. His friends were plentiful over his lifetime, they loved everything about being a part of this funny, amazing and good man’s life.

Don is proceeded in death by his beloved Father, James N Jennings, brother Rickey L Jennings and grandson, Simon Davis. Each of them were so precious to him and loved dearly, by Don. We know the Lord Jesus Christ and each one of them are there to greet him. No more pain, Don. Rest in Peace
