Dominique Kathleen Drew

Dominique Kathleen Drew, a beloved daughter, mother, partner, and friend, passed away in Boise, Idaho. Born on July 26, 1985, in Palo Alto, California, Dominique brought light and warmth to every life she touched.

She was the cherished daughter of Corinne Otillia Ferrales and Raymundo Navarro Garcia. Dominique was a proud graduate of Fontana High School in Fontana, California, and pursued some college education as well. Her dedication to service was evident through her time in the U.S. Army and later as a devoted stay-at-home mother.

Dominique was deeply spiritual and connected to the world beyond. She found great meaning in honoring those who came before her, offering tea, coffee, and food for ancestors, and performing the sign of the cross each time she heard a siren. Her connection to the earth and spirit was central to her life and values.

A passionate volunteer, Dominique spent many hours at the elementary school helping with art projects, making copies for teachers, and running the student store. She had a giving heart and believed strongly in contributing to her community.

Dominique enjoyed knitting, art, tarot, cooking, and dancing. Her creativity and joy for life were reflected in everything she did.She was first married to Carlos Alfonso in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, and later to Dana Drew in Boise, Idaho. She resided in various states throughout her life, including California, Tennessee, Illinois, and Idaho.

Dominique is survived by her children: Marielena Alfonso (18), Victor Alfonso (15), James Drew (9), and Daryl Drew (8); her partner Dana Drew, father to James and Daryl; and her former husband Carlos Alfonso, father to Marielena and Victor.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 30th, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service beginning at 2:00 PM at Bowman Funeral, 10254 W. Carlton Bay Dr., Boise, ID 83714.

Dominique’s spirit lives on in the lives of her children, her family, and everyone she touched. 

She will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
