Diane Goodpaster, 76, of Eagle, Idaho, passed away on February 4 th , 2023 due to natural causes.
She was born on June 24, 1946 in Vancouver British Columbia to Annie and Harold Brown. Shortly after college Diane moved to the United States where she later became a citizen and met her love Zura Goodpaster who preceded her in death in 2009 after 40 years of marriage.
Diane retired from Northwest Airlines. She enjoyed world traveling such as a safari to Kenya, cruises down the Nile River, around the tip of South America and the Panama Canal, tours of Peru, Belize and Costa Rica. Diane also was an avid reader and crocheter. In her recent years she was able to share her joy of reading while volunteering to help 1 st graders develop this skill. She also loved crocheting quilts which she would donate to local Hospices.
Diane was a loving mother, grandmother, wife and friend. Survivors include her five sons, Travis, Tege, Marc, Eric and Zura, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren who will all miss her dearly.
