Dee Tracey Dilworth, of Meridian, passed Monday, February 20, 2023.

Dee was born to Ariel Tracey Dilworth and Ruth Opal Cross on September 5, 1928, in Carey, ID. He graduated from Meridian High School in 1946.

He and  his wife of 50 years, Goldie Marie, welcomed friends and family to their homes in Boise, Reno, the desert of Nevada, Nampa, and Meridian. Home to them was anywhere they were together. Mom would tell everyone she met, he was a good man. He taught us many things, most often by example, showing us that your actions, not words, determine who you are.

He enjoyed his work as a Sheet Metal Worker and was a proud Union Member for 68 years. At one time, he mentored most of the apprentices in the Treasure Valley. He enjoyed sharing his knowledge with others. We all got those helpful hints whether it was fishing, hunting, at gun shows, or just sitting around the table. He loved spending time with family.

Dee is survived by his wife and children Connie Dee Burningham, Peggy Gardner, Jerry Dilworth, Donna (Dennis) Potter, and Charles (Andrea) Christon, his sister, Afton Hampton, 14 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and 14 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Roy Bryan and Wayne Dilworth, sister Maureen Johnson, daughter Alta Carmack, and grandchildren Kelli Burningham Craigie, and Raymond and Justin Dilworth.

Services will be held at Bowman Funeral Parlor, 10254 W Carlton, Garden City, Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at 1:30.
