Debra Lee Patterson (Matto), aged 70, passed away on September 20th, 2024, at Saint Alphonsus Hospital located in Boise, ID. Debra’s bountiful life started on December 17, 1953, in Fresno, California and was blessed to her father, George Matto, and mother, Mary Psaltis; She as well joined her older sister, Patricia Mullins. Debra was survived by her husband, Rick Patterson, 2 sons and 4 stepdaughters, and 5 grandchildren.

Throughout her childhood, she spent most of her time in California. Debra was family-orientated and had a very large, close family. She was close with her cousins and always out running around with them, she never walked away without being noticed. In October 1981, she met Rick Patterson, the love of her life, after traveling around from place to place they started to build a life in Boise, ID in 1995.

After moving to Boise, she worked in radio for Kwei Spanish Radio and Cool Oldies 99.5 for 17 years. She also was a partner for Rick and her construction business Chateau Builders. For the business she did a lot of the finances and designs. She always loved interior design which reflected in her own home. It was always fun and exciting for her.

Debra is remembered as light and joy itself. After talking to family, friends, and co-workers they all will tell you they’ve left with something positive just from talking to her. She seemed to always have a solution for everything, even if it wasn’t right that minute, she’d always let you know when she’d come up with something. Debra was a very giving, Christian woman; she was guided by God and the most positive, loving person anyone could ask for.

With her wishes she will be having a private adjournment and a celebration of life that will invite family and friends to join us, which will be posted at a later date. She regardless would want everyone to celebrate her life in their own way. Debra has surely left her mark on each one of us. As we are sad to see her go, we can rejoice the lessons we have learned from her and know not only that God gained another angel, but she is with her mother, Father and Sister who she missed so much. There’s no doubt she blessed us with the time we had with her and the words she left us all with. Debra will always be remembered as the woman who loved to laugh and love.
