David Kelly Feil department

David Kelly Feil with 68 fulfilling years passed away on April 7th, 2023, in St. Luke’s Meridian Hospital. Kelly was born on November 1st, 1954, in Rupert Idaho to David Merle and Agnes Grace Feil. While his youth was dedicated to assisting his parents on the family farm and playing sports for Minico High. Graduating in 1970 From Idaho State University with a degree in locomotive engineering. Kelly moved to Boise in 1972 for a career with Morrison Knudsen, Ada County Sheriff department as a deputy and United Cable Television. Kelly’s greatest achievement was owning and operating Idaho’s last full service gas station (Kelly’s Sinclair Station) and starting his lovely family, which includes his beloved wife, Linda Ann Feil and three children.

Kelly dabbled in many hobbies such as fishing, mechanic work, and continuously “jimmy-rigging” house projects and beautiful gardens. He always made time to coach or attend the hobbies of his children with zealous enthusiasm. Though hard work never ended for Kelly, retirement came in 2010 from years of management in automotive companies throughout Treasure Valley. He decided to dedicate more time with his growing family as weddings and grandchildren were approaching in the near future.

Kelly was a man to call when you were in need, whether it be for advice on cars or weather conditions before a grand adventure, he was always a phone call away.

Kelly, dedicated and loving husband, father, and grandfather “PaPa” is survived by his wife, Linda; children, Brandon and Alex, Chelsea and Jonathan, Christopher and Tina; grandchildren Adam, Frances “Frankie”, Charlie, Jackson, Nora. Sister; Joann Sabala

No public memorial service will be held.
