Darrel Wayne Lawson Jr
Darrel Lawson, May 17, 1962 – April 10, 2022 Meridian Idaho
Darrel Wayne Lawson passed away after a courageous fight with Cancer surrounded by his loved ones. Darrel was born in Emmett, Idaho. During his lifetime, Darrel always had a love of the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and later in life became a rockhound enthusiast. He was an Idaho Native and very proud to be an Idahoan!
Darrel was a member of the United States Air Force from 1979 to 1983. He later obtained his AA in Electronics from Boise State University in 2000. During his working career, Darrel worked as a welder, pipefitter at the Navy Shipyard, and when he obtained his AA in Electronics. He worked for Hewlett Packard where he was a respected team member by his co-workers.
He is survived by his daughter, Nicole Kennedy and two grandchildren, Roman and Sophia.
Per his wishes, he was cremated. In leu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to the St. Luke’s Health Foundation c/o Hospice. 190 Bannock, Boise, ID 83712.
