Dale Lynn Lee was born in Boise, Idaho on January 9, 1964 to parents Howard and Anita Lee. Sadly, he passed away on December 26, 2022 at the age of 58 from complications of a stroke with his loving wife at his side. He was the youngest of four brothers and had one younger sister. Dale attended Borah high school class of 1982. A year after graduation he reconnected with his soon-to-be wife Julie Brede and was married in 1984 and remained married for 38 years, until his death. Their first son, Justin, was born in 1987 and his family was completed with the birth or their second son, Nathan, in 1994.
Dale’s happy place was anywhere in Idaho’s great outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gold mining, camping and just kicking back around the campfire at the family lot in Donnelly. And let’s not forget that he was Nascar’s biggest fan! He enjoyed a good race or “crash” at the Meridian Speedway or a BSU Football game in the company of his wife, sons, daughter-in-law and grandkids.
He also spent his early years at the Owyhee Motorcycle club where he raced his mini-bike in Motocross and flat track. He is still lovingly remembered by his #10 racing number.
Dale spent most of his working career as an excavator and equipment operator. At one time he was known as the best trackhoe operator in the valley. It was very common for contractors to ask for him by name.
Dale was preceded in death by his Mother and Father. Dale is survived by his loving wife Julie, his sons Justin and Nathan, daughter-in-law Becca and two adorable grandkids Bella and Christian, Brothers Randy, Ron, Denny and little sister Michelle Manning and husband Tyler, sister-in-law’s Shelly and Patti and many nieces and nephews.
