Dale Joseph Dunn

Dale Joseph "Joe" Dunn passed away on June 10, 2025, in Boise, Idaho, the city where he was born on February 28, 1939. He was 86 years old.

Joe spent his early years in Boise and graduated from St. Theresa's High School before continuing his education at the University of Idaho.

He is remembered by his children: Jeffrey (Susie) Dunn, Denise (Louie) Fitzgerald, Robert (Kristin Bjorkman) Dunn, and Ryan (Carolyn) Gilbert. Joe is also survived by his sister Marsha Johnson and brother John Poncia. He had eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Joe was preceded in death by his mother Dorothy Kelly, father Joseph M. Dunn, who died on Wake Island when Joe was a toddler, and was additionally raised by loving step-father Johnny Poncia.

Arrangements are being made by Bowman Funeral Home and services will be held privately by family.
