Cynthia Annette Michalski
March 11, 1955 – February 13, 2023
Boise, Idaho – Born in West Orange, New Jersey; passed away Boise, Idaho.
Cynthia passed away peacefully, in the early morning hours of February 13, 2023. She was surrounded by family and friends in her final days, and by her devoted, loving husband Stephen when the lord took her into his grace.
Cindi was proceeded in death by her parents, Ernest “Bud” Bell and Betty Bell. Her oldest brother Charles Bell also proceeded her in death.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Stephen Michalski. Also survived by brother Clark (Rhonda), son Phillip (Susan), daughter Lisa (Brian), and grandchildren Benjamin, Lillian, Ethan.
She was a vanguard of the travel industry for over 40 years. Cindi started her career as a ticket agent for American Airlines. She quickly rose through the ranks into management, due to her innate knack for growing leisure travel, and then corporate business. Locally she was last part of the senior management team at Global Travel, for over 20 years. Her love of travel not only led to her career but was also to highlight her personal life. Cindi and Stephen’s wanderings took them all over the world, seeing some of the world’s greatest sites. She was a free spirit by nature and was always up for her next adventure, big or small.
Cindi’s love of travel was only surpassed by her devotion to Jesus Christ. She found refuge in him at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, in Boise. There she was involved in many aspects of the church community.
Her smile, laugh, and generosity of spirit could brighten any room, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Cindi was a wonderful wife and mother; a light that cannot be diminished with the passing of time.
“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.”
~John 5:24
If I take the wings of the morning,
And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,
Even there Your hand shall lead me,
And Your right hand shall hold me.
~Psalm 139: 9-10
