We lost a cowboy on June 7, 2023. Coltin had spent an amazing day with his grandmother when a tree fell on their car during a storm near mile marker 77 on Highway 55. Coltin was finishing up his eighth grade year at Payette Lakes Middle School in McCall, Idaho. Coltin was a bull rider for McCall-Donnelly Jr High School Rodeo. He had wanted to be a cowboy ever since he was very young and was the embodiment of what it meant to be a cowboy. You could find Coltin helping with a smile and wanted to jump in wherever needed, just so he could be doing something and learning. He had a heart of gold, loved his family, friends and animals. When he wasn’t bull riding, his time was spent tinkering on his dirt bike, cooking, sewing, riding horses with his mom and sister, making, collecting and sharpening knives, fishing, camping, and loved being outdoors. He is survived by his mother Alex MacGregor, his father and step-mother, Steven and Kristy Jones, his sister, Cassidy Jones, his brothers Garrett and Cyrus and Grandparents Marsha and Joe Gallagher, Ardys and John Jones, and David and June MacGregor and multiple aunts, uncles and cousins. He is met in Heaven by his uncle, Collin MacGregor, his great grandmother, Borgny Malde and his other great- grandparents.
