Terry Prisock, 76, died at home on November 1, 2023. He was born in Pocatello, Idaho to Marjorie and Burroughs Prisock on January 24, 1947.
In Terry’s younger years, he lived in Fort Hall, attended Blackfoot High School and was a proud graduate of Idaho State University.
After college, Terry enlisted in the United States Navy, serving aboard the USS Casimir Pulaski. Following his four years of service, he worked for the State of Idaho for 30 years as a Social Worker. At the time of his retirement in 2004, he was working in the Crisis Managment unit.
Terry loved spending time with his family, working out daily at his local gym and was an avid sports fan – especially of the Seattle Mariners and Gonzaga. Terry had a quick wit and took after his father as an engaging storyteller. He believed in the gift of life and had donated over 222 units of blood through the American Red Cross.
Terry is survived by his wife Teresa Prisock, children Amanda Burke, Chris Prisock, Brian (Kim) Prisock, Kristin (Doug) Croft, grandchildren Andrew (Alida) Burke, Hogan Prisock, Kaylee Anderson, Cheyenne Anderson and great grandson, Sage Earnest.
He was preceded in death by his parents Marjorie and Burroughs Prisock and brother, Roger “Mick” Prisock.
Internment for Terry will take place promptly at 11am on December 1st at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery with a Celebration of Life to follow.
