Casey James Rayburn

Casey James Rayburn, 20, of Boise, passed away September 7, 2026.

Casey James Rayburn was born August 30, 2006, in Boise, Idaho. At the tender age of two, Casey was placed in a loving foster home and then adopted. 

Casey was a fun-loving kid who liked to spend time with his family and friends. He loved his animals. Casey was a fan of the Seattle Seahawks and OKC Thunder. He enjoyed playing basketball, rap music, and fighting. 

Casey struggled with anger issues, and as he got older, became involved with the law and substance abuse. Casey spent many of his teen years in and out of rehab and the Idaho Department of Juvenile Corrections. During his last time in jail, Casey made a profession of faith and accepted Jesus into his heart. Casey had times where he was doing well and other times where he still struggled with making good life choices. 

On September 7, 2026, Casey was violently taken from this world and is now at rest with his Father in Heaven. He will be greatly missed by his mom, friends, and other family members.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Norm and Ruthy Rayburn. He leaves behind his mother, Denise Rayburn, his half-sister, Ashlin Hope, his aunt, uncle and cousins. 

Private services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Closet in Boise 10338 W. Fairview Ave, Boise, ID 83704.
