Carol Teuscher Rodemack

May 16, 1937 — September 14, 2025

Boise

Carol Teuscher Rodemack left this earth surrounded by love and family on September 14, 2025.

Carol was born May 16, 1937, in Ogden, Utah to Willard and Marie Teuscher. After her birth the family moved back to Geneva, Idaho where she became a big sister to Ross, Shirley, and Reed. Carol started school in Geneva's 2-room schoolhouse. Carol also loved riding the family horse around the hills of Geneva and loved helping her mother. The family moved to Montpelier, Idaho then to the Boise area. Carol graduated from Meridian High School in 1955.

Carol married Everett "Bud" Rodemack in 1957 in Boise, Idaho in the old Curtis Building of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. During their marriage, Carol and Bud were blessed with four children: Douglas Lee, Dayna Ellen, Denise Marie, and Bryan Dee. As a family they enjoyed camping and fishing with family and friends. Carol and Bud divorced in 1976.

Carol always grew a large garden. At first, it was to help feed her family, but in her later years it became her greatest pleasure in life. Carol and her sister Shirley would gather together with all of their children to prepare food for freezing and canning. While Carol loved her garden, she had a great dislike of snakes. Carol always said don't stand behind her, if she sees a snake, she will dance on your head as she is running away.

Carol worked at St. Lukes for over 30 years as the night switchboard operator. She always had a deep love of reading, having read every book in the Meridian High library. Her role at St.

Luke's was perfect as she could read between calls. She would average about 2 novels a week.

The four Teuscher children remained close all their lives, raising their children and grandchildren as a large and loving extended family, gathering for birthday parties on a monthly basis. The sisters, Carol and Shirley, loved visiting family in Oregon and Eastern Idaho, including Montpelier and Geneva to see extended family. She and Shirley would travel together to the

Oregon Coast stopping on the way to stay with Shirley's son Dan. Carol became beloved to Shirley's grandchildren. They also traveled to see their favorite country music artists. Carol loved her music.

Carol T. Rodemack is survived by her children Douglas Rodemack (Esther), Denise Otter and

Bryan Rodemack, as well as her grandchildren Amanda, Reanna, Georgina, Jasen, Nick, Alex, Kayla, and Alex, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She is also survived by her sister Shirley Rodemack.

Carol is joining her daughter Dayna, great granddaughter Sidney, her brothers Ross and Reed and her parents Willard and Marie in heaven.
