In the early morning of April 23, Carol Ross passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer. Carol was born in Greenville CA and grew up in San Bernardino Ca. There she met and married Jim Ross and they had three wonderful children, Jordon, Jared, and Lauren. In 1993 the family relocated to Idaho and Carol found a place she loved. Carol last worked as a recess aid at Amity elementary school, and she always enjoyed it when one of the former students would remember her when out shopping or dining. In September of last year, she and Jim celebrated their 50 th anniversary with family and friends. Carol loved gardening and their homes reflected her gardening skills and creativity. Carol was a local coordinator for the Special Olympics for many years and most recently was active in the Ladies Auxiliary of the Eagles Lodge #115. She was preceded in Death by her Father, Mother, and two brothers.
She leaves behind her husband Jim, daughter Lauren, son Jared, son Jordon and his wife Melina, sister Melissa and her husband John, and stepmother Claudia.
The family would like to thank the St. Luke’s Cancer Institute, especially Dr Dan Zuckerman, for the great care and treatment provided during Carols 8 + year struggle with cancer. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the St Luke’s Cancer Institute.
A celebration of life will be held on June 11 from 3PM to 8PM at the Boise Eagles Lodge, 7025 W Overland Rd, Boise.
