Carol J. Langdon, 94, passed away on 11/11/25 at home. Carol was born in Pueblo Colorado on 11/8/31. She was the third daughter of John and Helen Andrews. She grew up in Pueblo and attended St. Patrick’s Grade School and Pueblo Catholic High. Carol received an academic scholarship to Loretto Heights College in Denver, Colorado. After graduating with a degree in Dietetics, she enlisted in the U.S. Army and was stationed in El Paso, San Antonio, and finally at Walter Reed Army Medical Hospital. After her discharge from the military, Carol and her best friend spent the next three months traveling in Europe. Following her travels, she returned to Pueblo and worked at St. Mary Corwin Hospital where she met her future husband, Larry Langdon. They moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico, and then Boise in 1966 where they remained. After adopting their two children in New Mexico, Mom was a stay-at-home mom, working tirelessly at home, taking the kids to school and to all sorts of sports and activities, including volunteering at school. Carol was an active member of Sacred Heart Parish, especially being a member of the Council for Catholic Women. She loved to play bridge, walk with her walking buddies, and help take care of her grandchildren. Larry and Carol were married until Larry’s death in 2002. After Larry passed way, she volunteered at St. Vincent DePaul’s food bank. She is survived by her children Chris Langdon and Kate (Steve) Haney, as well as six granddaughters - Briana, Christa, Maria, Suzanne, Olivia (Calvin), Bethany (Brayden); two great-granddaughters, and two great-grandsons. A viewing will be held Tuesday, November 18th, at 6 p.m. followed by a rosary at 7 p.m. at Bowman Funeral Home in Boise.
