Carol Brown, born on March 13, 1942, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, lived a life filled with love, kindness, and dedication. She passed away on March 23, 2025, due to complications from Alzheimer's Disease, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and joy.

Carol was the eldest child of Dee and Inez Hargrove, with a sister, Lynda, and a brother, Dee Wayne. At the age of 17, while working as an elevator operator at the Roger's Hotel in downtown Idaho Falls, she met the love of her life, Robert "Bob" Brown, a bell hop at the same hotel. Their love story blossomed quickly, leading to a beautiful union in 1960 that lasted 42 years and brought three wonderful children into the world: Lori, Jeff, and Leslie.

In 1989, Carol and her family moved to Boise to be closer to their first grandchild, Jessica. Carol dedicated most of her life to being a homemaker, ensuring her family's needs were met with love and care. She made her children's clothes, stretched every penny, and filled their weekends with camping trips and Friday night card games with friends.

Carol was known for her kindness and happiness, qualities that made her the best mom and Grandma. Her great-grandchildren affectionately called her GiGi, a term she cherished. Babysitting sessions with Carol were filled with crafts, puzzles, and making pudding chocolate chip cookies. Her hobbies included painting rocks, cooking, playing bridge, and completing puzzles.

After losing Bob to cancer in 2002, Carol found happiness again with Larry Carney. They enjoyed nearly 23 years of marriage, sharing a love for fishing, bowling, and daily walks. Carol continued to play bridge and bowl until several months before her passing. Despite her battle with Alzheimer's Disease, Carol's spirit remained strong, and her husband Larry cared for her with love and patience until the very end.

Carol is survived by her husband, Larry Carney; daughter Lori Hillner (Tim); son Jeff Brown; daughter Leslie Singelyn (Scott); grandchildren Jessica Everman (Trevor), Cydney Boel, Hayden and Brooke Singelyn; and great-grandchildren Kellen, Kennedy, and Carter Everman, and Olivia and Eleanor Boel.

Carol's life was a testament to the power of love, family, and resilience. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her memory will live on in the hearts of her loved ones.
