Bradford Walker McMullin, M.D., husband of Elizabeth A. McMullin, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2023. Dad was a caring husband throughout his life, and a wise and loving father to his children and grandchildren.
He was born on January 15, 1943 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, as the first child of Nolan Eames McMullin and Jane Walker McMullin. His father passed away from cancer when Dad was the tender age of eight years old. Dad owned the heavy patriarchal duties for his five siblings, and his mother (Jane Walker McMullin), without regard for his own happiness, yet found purpose and joy in this service. This selflessness shaped his family life, his professional career as a medical doctor, and his life of service in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Dad (and Mom) raised, and is survived by, four children: Sean (Deb), Colin (Sabrina), Lisa Myers (Gordon), and Jesse (Sarah), 21 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings Faris (Pat), Nola Baker (George) and Ron (Mary-Rose).
Dad loved fishing, sailing, and canoeing and his idea of a great day would be fly-fishing and catching cutthroat on a Montana river with one of his kids, his brothers, or his friend Jim, taking his catamaran out on Seeley Lake, or seeing castles in France with his best friend, his wife, Liz.
Dad was known, and will be remembered for, his peaceful, calm and kind mannerisms with his family, those he served in the Church, his patients, nurses and doctors with whom he worked, and everyone he met, even for a moment. Dad was a Christ-like man. His desire to follow the Savior and his faith in the plan of salvation were a foundational part of his life to the end. His passing is a great loss to all who knew him, but we take comfort in the knowledge that he is now reunited with his Heavenly Father, his parents and younger sibling, and his many aunts and uncles whom he loved dearly.
His funeral service will be held at the stake center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 2515 W. Ustick Road, Meridian, ID on Tuesday, April 26, 2003 at 11 am. All are welcome to attend and pay their respects to a man who touched the lives of so many.
