On Monday, February 17, 2025, Betty Jo Kiser, 90 yrs old passed away peacefully after a lengthy battle with Dementia. Betty Jo was the beloved wife to Tyree Kiser having spent 68 years of marriage together.
She was a dedicated mother and grandmother, always happy to spend time with her loved ones and share in their joys. She supported her daughters in their love of horses, often traveling across country and the world to cheer them on. She was always their biggest fan.
She was quick witted, feisty and had a knack for making people laugh with her one liners. Having worked for the Dept. of Defense for many years, she was fondly referred to as “The Little General”.
She was a devout BSU Bronco Football fan, sporting the Bronco Bling whenever possible.
Her memory will live on in her family and she will be deeply missed!
Betty Jo is survived by her loving children Tamara Cantelo (husband Ross), Tarita Davidson (husband Brendan) and Tabitha Anderson (husband Kevin). She was a devoted grandmother to Samantha Cantelo, Taryn Anderson and Ty Cantelo.
Arrangements are under the direction of Bowman Funeral Parlor of Garden City.
A memorial service will be held, 11:00 am, Thursday, March 27, 2025 at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery, 10100 Horseshoe Bend Rd., Boise, Idaho.
