Benjamin R. Gonzalez, age 66, of Michoacan Mexico, passed away on March 31, 2025. He was born on February 13,1959 Benjamin was a dedicated and passionate man, particularly known for his love of sports, especially soccer, which he played for many years. His love for the game was only surpassed by his deep connection to the kitchen, where he found joy in cooking, particularly his famous salsas and carne asada.
Benjamin’s salsas were legendary, and one of his greatest joys was sharing them with others, especially his caretakers at Davita and his doctors, Dr. Pintar, Dr. Hunt, and their wonderful team. His kindness, generosity, and warmth extended far beyond his family, touching the lives of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
Benjamin had a deep love for agriculture, always dreaming of owning land where he could raise Shetland ponies. His passion for nature and animals was a reflection of his nurturing spirit and his desire to connect with the world around him.
A devoted and loving husband, Benjamin shared a beautiful life with the love of his life, Bridget, his late wife. He was also a proud father to his three sons, David, Joseph, and Victor and grandfather to Janessa Gonzalez. Benjamin lived by the belief that “be patient, and good things will come,” a quote that guided him through the challenges and triumphs of life.
Though Benjamin’s passing leaves a profound emptiness, his memory will live on through the love he shared, the lessons he imparted, and the unforgettable flavors of his cooking that will always bring a smile to those who had the pleasure of experiencing them. Benjamin’s warmth, humor, and love will be greatly missed by all who knew him. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
