Benjamin Leroy "Lee" Fauth, 91 of Caldwell, Idaho, passed away peacefully,April 22, 2026, at St. Alphonsus' hospital in Boise with his family by his side.
Lee was born on March 14, 1935, in Jamestown, North Dakota, to Benjamin Fauth and Ruth Beopple. He had two brothers, Adolph and Virgil, and five sisters, Ramona, Selma, Margaret, Kathy, and Debbie. While growing up they lived in California, Idaho, and Washington.
He married Anita Mae Crabtree on June 5, 1956. They moved to the Yakima area in Washington. They had two sons, Steve and Andy.
Lee got into construction and drywall. He built 30 houses throughout his life in the Washington and Idaho areas. He did many sheet rocking jobs in the area for businesses and also for family. If you were driving by a house or business that he had worked on he would tell you about it. Lee valued the work he did. Anita was his bookkeeper for 50 years. They moved to Meridian in 1971. Later on her health declined and Lee was her devoted caregiver until she passed January 14, 2021.
Awhile later Lee met Lenora Crowson and they got married March 22, 2022. Together they went on a lot of trips visiting friends and family. The highlight of all the travels was when they went to Williamstown, KIentucky, where they saw the replica of Noah's Ark. Lee was interested in how they had constructed everything. They were planning to go this summer to see his sisters Ramona, Kathy and grandchildren Tamarah, James, and Peter in Missouri.
Lee is survived by his wife Lenora, his sons Steve (Gaylene) Fauth, Andy (Sheila) Fauth. His sisters Ramona and Kathy and many nieces, nephews, cousins and grandchildren and great-grandchildren and step-sons and extended family.
Lee is preceded in death by his wife Anita, his parents Ben and Ruth, his brothers Adolph and Virgil, and his sisters Selma, Margaret, and Debbie.
Lee will be missed and loved by many friends and family. He has touched many lives.
