Barbara Jean “Barb” Cowles, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, passed away on April 22 nd 2024, at the age of 83. She was surrounded by loved ones when she died peacefully in Placerville, Idaho in the cherished home she and her husband, Ronald Cowles, built together.
Barb and Ron met each other in Vallejo, California at church. Years later, he became her postman and she would wait for him to pass by, just to say “Hey Ronnie!”. They were married on May 1 st , 1965 and eventually settled in Boise, Idaho with their two adored children.
Barb loved her chihuahua, Nacho, watching BSU football, and being outside, but more than anything, Barb loved her family. She loved gossiping with her daughters and cheering on her grandchildren. She went to countless sporting events and was willing to travel anywhere to watch quick draw or visit family. She was always there for anyone who needed it. She will be missed dearly and will be remembered for the love and sacrifice she shared with her family and friends.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Laurel and Janene; her grandchildren, Oliver, Max, Miles, Spencer, Jamie and Eric; her great-grandchildren, Olivia, Drew, Alex, Esther, Ellie, Jack, and Benson; and her brother, Ralph.
