Her commitment to the community extended beyond her professional life, as she served as the treasurer of the Boise Astronomical Society for 14 years. Her passion for stargazing and astronomy was only matched by her love for camping, her cats, music, and, most importantly, her family.
Barbara was a family-oriented soul who deeply impacted the lives of those around her, always putting her loved ones first.
She remained in close contact with several of her former workmates and Borah High School friends. She sincerely enjoyed lunches and special events with all of them throughout the years. Barbara was well-known for her love of cats and donations would be welcome to animal rescue agencies. She will be greatly missed by many. We take comfort in knowing she is in a place of love and grace along the stars.
