Barbara H. Allari

Barbara Hams Allari passed away peacefully in Meridian, Idaho, on August 1, 2026, at the age of 90.

Born in Santa Ana, California, on November 28, 1935, to the late Mary Pedroja Hams and Harold Hams, Barbara grew up with a deep curiosity for the world and a lifelong dedication to learning and service. She attended Santa Ana High School before furthering her education at San Jose State University and the Stanford University School of Medicine, embarking on an academic journey marked by intelligence, determination, and care for others.

Throughout her life, Barbara embraced the beauty in the world around her. She was an avid traveler who delighted in exploring new cultures and places, a passionate art collector with an eye for vibrant pieces, and an accomplished needle-pointer whose careful hand created treasured keepsakes. Her generous spirit was most evident in her dedicated volunteer work, where she gave selflessly of her time to support her community and uplift those around her.

Barbara was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Mary and Harold Hams. She leaves behind a cherished legacy through her family: her daughter, Wendy Allari, and daughter-in-law, Jenn Allari, of Scottsdale, Arizona; and her granddaughter, Ryean Allari, of Dana Point, California, all of whom brought immense pride and joy to her life.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her, remembered for her grace, intellect, artistic eye, and steady kindness.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Barbara’s memory to The Assistance League of Boise.
