Ashley Denell Johnson
May 11, 1988 – April 4, 2024
It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Ashley Denell Johnson. She was a bright spark in the world and will be deeply missed by many. Ashley’s family, although prepared for her upcoming health struggles, was unprepared for this unexpected loss.
Ashley was born on May 11, 1988 in Boise, Idaho to Jim and Louinda Woodward. She was the youngest of three children.
After attending Mountain View High School, she met and married Brandon Johnson of Boise, and became a loving mother to their two children, Hunter and Lidia Johnson.
Ashley was a talented artist with a kind and compassionate soul. She never hesitated to throw herself into projects or to offer a helpful hand to someone else. Ashley always put her children first, often going without. She offered a level of optimism and humor that was honest and heartfelt and spilled over into everything she did.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ray Woodward, Lidia McFarland, and Gary and Leila Garner. She is survived by her two beautiful children, Hunter and Lidia Johnson, and their father Brandon Johnson; Her father, Jim (Bobbie) Woodward and mother, Louinda Woodward; her sibling, Aaron (Rori) Woodward, Nicola (Ryan) Kenyon, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
There will be a memorial service on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at 11:00 am at Bowman Funeral Chapel.
