Angela “Angie” Daun Peterson passed away peacefully in her home on April 2, 2026. Angie was born October 20, 1967 to Thomas and Sharon (Hepperle) Fischer in Twin Falls, Idaho.
Angie grew up in Buhl, Idaho, and graduated from Buhl High School in 1985. She attended college at Boise State University where she graduated in 1989 with a degree in accounting. Following graduation, Angie moved to Southern California where she went to work for Peat Marwick until 1993 when she took a job with Amgen in Thousand Oaks.
While working at Amgen, Angie met the love of her life, Del Peterson, and they were married on September 20, 1997. Angie and Del have two beautiful daughters, Anna and Gwen, who were the light of her life. In July 2005, Angie and Del moved to Eagle, Idaho, where they started their own business, Northwest Pets, which just celebrated its 20th anniversary.
Angie loved to read, watch her girls play soccer, spend time in Disneyworld and McCall, and spend time with her extended family getting together for pizza and to play board games and cards. Angie loved animals, especially gorillas and her beloved Bernese Mountain Dogs.
Angie is survived by: her husband Del and her two daughters, Anna and Gwen; her parents Tom and Sharon Fischer; her sister Lisa Reinke (Jay); her brother-in-law Matt Peterson (Giana); her niece Kate Reinke; and two nephews, Drew Reinke (Kelsey) and Lucas Peterson.
A Celebration of Life will be held on May 15, 2026, at 10:30 AM at Hope Lutheran in Eagle, Idaho.
In lieu of flowers and to honor Angie’s love of animals, the family requests that donations be made in Angie’s name to the Jane Goodall Foundation.
Arrangements are under the direction of Bowman Funeral Parlor of Garden City.
