Ambrose Methodius Arkoosh

Ambrose Methodius Arkoosh was born on May 4, 2024, and he entered into eternal rest three days later on May 7, 2024. He is the fourth child of Kevin and Mary Sharon Arkoosh. Although his time on Earth was short, he was loved deeply by many, and his life united countless Christians across the country in prayer. The fruit of this prayer has already been made evident.

A few short hours after he was born, he received the sacrament of baptism, and he received the sacrament of confirmation the following day with St. Michael as his confirmation saint. His soul was in a perfect state to enter into eternal life, where he has certainly joined the company of angels and saints in the heavenly kingdom and celestial paradise with Christ.

He is survived by his parents, Kevin and Mary Sharon, two big brothers, Pio and Jude, one big sister, Juliette, grandparents Michael and Kristine Arkoosh and Paul and Kristen Ciaccia, great grandparents Paul and Sharon Ciaccia and Deechen Horton, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In the original Greek, Ambrose Methodius translates to “Immortal Traveler.” His journey on Earth was short yet powerful, and we are confident that his travels continue as he intercedes for us all.

The Arkoosh family wishes to express their deepest gratitude for all the prayer offered for Ambrose and invite everyone to the funeral this Friday, May 10, 2024, at 3:00 pm at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist in Boise.

In addition, the Monks of New Mellary Abbey of Peosta, Iowa, graciously provided the handcrafted wooden casket. If you would like to support these monks, please donate to them in Ambrose’s name.
